I am the Iron Batman
Pretty strange for a fashion blog to have something as casual as Tee's right? But while fashion is a statement of who you are- Generally mine tells people I like frills and girly things- when I wear my favorite comic book t shirts people now know what a total and complete geek I am. It often sparks conversations with fellow geeks or with complete strangers which I why I love my T-shirts so much.
Not only can they be witty, fun, and ADORABLE- these T-shirts can also be CHEAP! Websites like Teefury and Shirt Woot have them for only $10. Which makes it hard not to have a entire wardrobe made out of their amazing T-shirts. Places like Threadless and Hottopic also see cool graphic tees with some of my beloved icons but those shirts go for around $20-25. The shirt I'm wearing in this shoot is my first female super hero Sailor Moon. Not only was she my first Japanese cartoon- a obsession I still have and has gotten me into Japanese fashion, but she was my first strong female role model .She wasn't that smart like me yet had the coolest friends and super powers. I freaking LOVE her. So when I found this shirt at hottopic I had to do it. (Even if it was $20.)
Then I just spiced it up. T-shirts can so be fashionable. I love a fancy skirt / tee combination. I think it looks geek chic. So I'm rocking that look. With my lovely new brown sandals I bought from Urban on sale and my BCG (birth control glasses) as my mother calls them, I think I pulled off my groovy sailor moon shirt.
